Turn your eyes upon Jesus

Switch on your inner eyes (Ephesians 1:18) as you are shutting off your outer eyes (Genesis 3:7).

Look away unto Jesus (Hebrews 12:2)!

1. O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There's light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace.

2. Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O'er us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conqu'rors we are!

3. His Word shall not fail you, He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well;
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

Lord, I believe

Link

Don't be troubled by whatever condition you are in right now. Whether it be good or bad, it will pass. Don't be over run by anxieties. Just look away unto Jesus and enjoy His presence everyday. Christians living seems ordinary, but the daily divine dispensing is extra-ordinary. Enjoy this hymn and be at peace. Amen.

1. Lord now I see,
You only want me to believe
Not to change.
In all my failures and defeats
To believe what You have done,
And not in what I see.

2. Lord I believe,
When all around me is defeat
And it seems that nothing's changing outwardly.
No! I'm not discouraged,
I'm believing You.

3. Yes, I believe,
And there is no demand on me.
Simple faith, yes, that is all You want from me.
Freed from anxious doubting—
I'm free to just believe!

4. Believing You,
Because, Lord, You are my success!
When I fail, all I must do is just confess,
And go on enjoying You—
I love believing You!

Nearer each day

God is near (Romans 10:8). Even He is in us (John 14:20), dispensing God's life and nature into our whole being.

As we are receiving Him, we are being made just like Him gradually. One day, even people around us will sense God's presence through us. Let your forbearance be known to all men. The Lord is near. (Philippians 4:5)

1. Nearer each day to me,
Dearer each day to me,
This Person inside me is
Becoming reality.
Saving me, loving me,
Faith and hope giving me.
You're all the world to me Jesus, my Lord.

2. Even when faith is small,
When there's no hope at all,
I hear Him say to me,
Trust in Me and you'll see,
That I'll supply all your needs,
If only you will believe.
All anxious doubts will cease,
While trusting in Me.

Wherever you go, I will go

Ruth made a choice to follow Naomi. This is what she said to Naomi in Ruth 1:16-17

...For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you dwell, I will dwell; and your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die; and there will I be buried. ...

As a result, Ruth took part in the first coming of Christ.

Who is Naomi? Naomi is someone who has been fully dealt with by God through her failures and weaknesses (Ruth 1:20). Paul was fully dealt with by the Lord so that he may betroth us to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2).

Lot made a wrong choice. As a result, he lost his participation in God's economy (Genesis 13:11-12).

Enjoy the following hymn and choose the path of life to bring in the 2nd coming of Christ, our Bridegroom (Revelation 19:7):

Wherever you go, I will go,
Wherever you dwell, I will dwell;
Your people will be my people,
And your God will be my God.
Wherever you go, I will go,
Wherever you dwell, I will dwell;
Your people will be my people,
And your God will be my God.
Wherever you die, I will die;
And there will I be buried.
Jehovah do to me, and more as well,
If anything but death parts me from you.
Jehovah do to me, and more as well,
If anything but death parts me from you.
