Wherever you go, I will go

Ruth made a choice to follow Naomi. This is what she said to Naomi in Ruth 1:16-17

...For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you dwell, I will dwell; and your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die; and there will I be buried. ...

As a result, Ruth took part in the first coming of Christ.

Who is Naomi? Naomi is someone who has been fully dealt with by God through her failures and weaknesses (Ruth 1:20). Paul was fully dealt with by the Lord so that he may betroth us to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2).

Lot made a wrong choice. As a result, he lost his participation in God's economy (Genesis 13:11-12).

Enjoy the following hymn and choose the path of life to bring in the 2nd coming of Christ, our Bridegroom (Revelation 19:7):

Wherever you go, I will go,
Wherever you dwell, I will dwell;
Your people will be my people,
And your God will be my God.
Wherever you go, I will go,
Wherever you dwell, I will dwell;
Your people will be my people,
And your God will be my God.
Wherever you die, I will die;
And there will I be buried.
Jehovah do to me, and more as well,
If anything but death parts me from you.
Jehovah do to me, and more as well,
If anything but death parts me from you.
